Carolyn is one of My Tax Repair’s partners, a tax specialist and certified public accountant. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Lubbock Christian University and a Master's Degree in Accounting with an Emphasis in Taxation from Texas Tech University. Carolyn became a CPA in 1989. With twenty-six years experience as a Certified Public Accountant, Carolyn has prepared and reviewed tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts and estates. She has represented clients in office and field audits, clients at the Appeals level with the IRS as well as support to the Tax Court level. She has also been involved in all aspects of business planning with clients in regard to business mergers, acquisitions, evaluations and in financial tax and estate planning. Carolyn has managed the Tax department of a CPA firm, been active in developing new business for that firm and has taught tax seminars. Carolyn also taught tax accounting at Lubbock Christian University from 1990 to 1993. Carolyn owned and operated two H & R Block franchises in Louisiana (preparing over 3000 returns per season) prior to obtaining her CPA.

Carolyn is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and American Woman’s Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Carolyn is a Ministry Leader for church programs for women, children, single moms as well as foster children. She is active in our community and has been President and Board Member of Goodwill Industries of Lubbock, from 1994 to present, President and Board Member of Executive Forum, and a Board Member of CASA of Lubbock, from 1998 to 2001.
